Where do you get your inspiration?
"My main interest and focus is based around the beauty and significance of humans and animals. I am fascinated by many things from popular culture and imagery to the emotional attributes of what is happening around me. My aim is to unite the beast and reveal the similarities we share."
What has been your favourite piece and why?
"At the moment I am working on a series of Meerkat paintings with gold leaf. The Meerkat displays so many human characteristics and makes us see ourselves in a humourous and delightful way. However dogs are my soft spot for the connection I have with them directly."
What is your favourite material to work with?
"I love to use lots of washes with water colour, ink, ink pencils, acrylic, spray paint and gold leaf."
If you were to expand your product range to something entirely different, what would it be?
"I always have a million ideas at once, so at the moment I am working with a lot of figurative imagery but I cannot yet share with you until they are ready - I am very excited though, that's what keeps me going!"
Describe your products in three words...
"Original. Colourful. Contemporary."
