Jane's explosive use of colour has caught the eye of many fine art collectors. She has held over 15 successful solo exhibitions within Victoria and since 2008 has been a resident artist on Hamilton Island on Australia's dazzling Great Barrier Reef.
In 2013 her works were featured in a group exhibition in Italy in the beautifully historic city of Bologna. In May 2014 her works are being showcased in Aix en Provence, France at the Sm'art Art Fair.
Jane's use of acrylic paints loaded with texture and glossy surfaces using Liquid Glass have created a three dimensional sculpted effect in contemporary abstract and nautical works. Yachties love her ability to depict the feel of the sea and sailing.
Her yacht scenes are full of boldly coloured spinnakers and splashy metallic highlights or blazing dawn and dusk skies with yachts racing neck and neck across the ocean.
Buyers also love Jane's abstract interpretation of Aussie beach culture in her Beachtotem series. Blocks and stripes of textured colour resonant of the carnival that is the Australian beach.

Ocean Grove, Victoria
Where do you get your inspiration?
"I was born and raised in the tiny seaside village of Point Lonsdale, Victoria at the entrance to Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay. My childhood was filled with long summers playing on the beach and watching the world of ships and boats go by."
What has been your favourite piece and why?
"Tough question, I have two.
Thrust - a realistically portrayed yacht charges through an abstract world where sea and sky have no borders. Rich reds and purples predominate.
Harlequin - abstract blocks of colour layered and juxtaposed with carefree abandon and wildly happy colour. Expressing my love for theatre and the circus."
What is your favourite material to work with?
"Acrylic paints, Liquid Glass and texture mediums allowing glowing colour, shiny surfaces and depth through texture. Very tempting to touch and feel!"
If you were to expand your product range to something entirely different, what would it be?
"Sculptures, vases and glassware. It's something about bringing shapes and colours into a three dimensional format that I love."
Describe your products in three words...
"Cheerful. Bold. Bright."
